When the concept of value engineering was first conceived during World War 2, the aim was to find real value through careful analysis of products and components. This was accomplished by either improving performance without increasing cost or reducing cost without sacrificing performance. It was understood that value could only created if functionality and durability remained the priority.
Today, value engineering has fallen far from its origins, with products being chosen and changed out simply because they are cheaper, many times sacrificing performance and longevity. This new process is no longer about creating actual value. Acknowledging that budget is always a concern, there must still be a better way.
With the introduction of EN-V we aim to restore the true meaning of value. We haven’t cheapened anything about the EN-V metal panel system, but rather optimized the process to find cost savings without ever sacrificing performance. Available in a nearly endless palette of custom colors, EN-V doesn’t compromise on aesthetics either. Now you can use a system you want at the price point you need.

FAQ’s
EN-V is Dri-Design which takes advantage of manufacturing and material optimization to provide significant cost savings. The gauge of material is still .080″ aluminum and the finish is still the industry standard fluoropolymer finish.
EN-V can be installed over many different substrates. However, the substrate must be able to hold a fastener. For example, 5/8″ plywood can hold a fastener, but fiberglass gypsum sheathing cannot. Therefore, when using fiberglass gypsum sheathing a sub girt must be installed onto the substrate horizontally for the attachment of panels. Additionally, a weather barrier must be used under all EN-V panels.
Yes, we can provide trims and flashings. Also, our customers are welcome to fabricate their own. Both options are available.
Lead times will vary by project size. However, most projects can be shipped in 4 weeks from order acceptance.
Yes, we can provide shop drawings for your project. However, our customers can also provide their own shop drawings. EN-V details are available in several formats.
While we can certainly accommodate any size project, our most economical pricing is based off a minimum of 1,000 square feet of wall panels.
Yes, with the only exception being that you cannot mix vertically and horizontally staggered panels together. This can be accomplished with Dri-Design.
No, EN-V is made with solid aluminum and is 100% non-combustible.
There are dozens of standard color options available and we can easily custom match a color if required. Depending on the size of the project there may be a charge for a custom color.
EN-V is only available in the standard sizes shown on the products page. We would be happy to build you custom size panels as part of our Dri-Design offering.
